Symptoms

When playing a Mobile script in the Dynatrace Recorder, the Mobile playback agent crashes.
Playing back IE or Firefox scripts works fine.

Solution

There may be an issue with the Recorder that was caused during an upgrade.

To resolve the issue, do the following:

  1. Uninstall the Dynatrace Recorder (using Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program).
  2. Delete the files in the following locations:
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Gomez
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Gomez
  3. Download and install the latest version of the Recorder.
