You need to provide:
- Your Synthetic Classic Portal username and password.
- The monitor ID for the test or script you want to delete. You can get the Monitor IDs can through the Windows Recorder. When you use the Open (Remote) command, the Monitor ID is displayed in the test list in the Open from Dynatrace Synthetic Classic Platform dialog box. See Opening a Script for details.
Use Case: Delete a Test (TestStatusUpdate)
In this use case, you want to delete a test, which decreases the number of active tests and increases the number of available tests. The number of tests that you can create is currently constrained to the number you purchased. So it is beneficial to delete tests when they are no longer useful to you. The method used for this is
TestStatusUpdate(). Change the test’s status to Deleted and the test is deleted.
