The Dynatrace Classic Portal provides you with many different charting options and capabilities, including the ability to chart the errors experienced by a test. However, sometimes an error chart does not completely break down each of the errors.
Occasionally the density of data in the chart is too great for the charting software to create a bar graph corresponding to multiple error types within the same slice of time. When this occurs, all the error information will be displayed properly in the Show Pie Chart check box as well as the downloaded data icon. The only area in which the data is not separated is the bar graph.
To force all the bars to display, the overall amount of data displayed in the chart needs to be reduced. There are two ways to do this:
- Reduce the "end-to-end" time period of the chart.
- Reduce the size of the time breakdown (the chart defaults to one hour).
Both of these options can be configured in the Diagnostics page of the GPN's Last Mile tab prior to creating the error chart.
