Why do my trend numbers differ from my Benchmark test data?

Solution

The reason why you see differences between Trending and Benchmark test report data is that the Benchmark report parameters cover from 08:00 to 20:00 (prime business time), and the trending data reflects around-the-clock testing results. Also, the trending data is likely running on a different array of nodes than the Benchmark, leading to slight differences. The Benchmark tests will generally be running from fewer nodes than the average client test, causing the two reports to contain different calculation results.

Only performance data from active Benchmark nodes will be considered for your selected tests in this report.
