DNA provides a wealth of error information to assist you in identifying and resolving application performance problems. Errors are categorized into one of several classes and then further refined to one of several types of errors that can occur in that class.

For example, in the TCP Retransmission class, both entire and partial retransmissions can occur. To speed your troubleshooting, DNA automatically assesses each error within a class for its probable causes and displays:

  • An abbreviated form of its analysis in the Description column of the Error analysis

  • A frame summary description in the Packet trace view

  • No labels
