The health of the script scheduling and execution are the most critical elements of transaction health. Transaction health enables you to track:

  • The Agents on which the applications/transactions are running.

  • The last status of the transaction.

  • The script's error history.

  • The script associated with the transaction.

  • Script errors that have occurred, plus a link to screen shots.

  • Information about the Agent(s) where the script is scheduled to run.

Note:

You can enable Transaction health alerts on the Agents Health tab.

The Transaction Health Report shows information about the selected transaction, when an error has been logged for the selected transaction. Access the report from the Deployment View. For more information, see Viewing the Transaction Health Summary Report.

The Transaction Health report shows information related to the selected transaction, including:

  • Application and transaction

  • Last start date and time of the script.

  • The current status of the transaction.

  • Name of the script and associated scripting tool.

  • The number of times the script errors have occurred, plus a link to the screen shot captured.

  • Information about the Agent(s) on which the scripts are run.

Transaction health information is retained as follows:

  • Transaction health indicators, error counts, and error logs are retained for up to 72 hours.

  • Error information, include description and time, is retained for up to 28 days.
