Developers tend to use Firefox as their main browser as it provides a great set of tools such as Firebug or YSlow. dynaTrace AJAX Edition was the tool for Internet Explorer giving full in-depth view into JavaScript, Rendering and Network. The question that is still remaining is how to best compare web site performance across multiple browsers. With the recent announcement of dynaTrace to soon publish Firefox support for the AJAX Edition it will be possible to compare JavaScript, Network and Rendering performance across the two major browsers - Firefox and Internet Explorer.
