Get the most out of DC RUM
DC RUM 2017 May Service Pack 3 is now available. This is a maintenance release covering resolved issues for DC RUM 2017 May, SP1 and SP2 releases. All customers are encouraged to upgrade and take advantage of these improvements.
The following release versions are included in Dynatrace Data Center RUM 2017 May Service Pack 3 release:
- RUM Console 17.0.3
- ESM 12.5.3
We did our best to make your DC RUM deployment as secure as possible. The Service Pack supports all the major third party security updates:
- The report servers and AMD include the latest Tomcat release (8.5.23), fixing the CVE-2017-12617 vulnerability.
- You can go ahead and update your AMD kernel to the latest release (kernel-3.10.0-693.5.2.el7.x86_64), which fixes the RHSA-2017:2795 vulnerability.
- We updated Java in all the DC RUM components to the 1.8 u151 version that contains the latest Oracle Java SE Critical Patch Update.
Enterprise Synthetic Monitoring 12.5 Service Pack 3
We also released the update to the latest Enterprise Synthetic Monitoring release. See Enterprise Synthetic Monitoring 12.5 Release Notes.
Upgrading the High Availability deployment
If you're applying High Availability Deployment, make sure that the primary RUM Console is up and running when you perform the CAS upgrade. The primary RUM Console is the one defined as first in the CAS security.yaml file.
