You are almost there. The last thing that needs to be done is to configure your application processes to load the dynaTrace Agent and connect with the dynaTrace Server. Follow the videos for a walk through how to configuring a typical JAVA based application or a .NET based application. Installing the dynaTrace Agent

 Installing the dynaTrace Agent on Linux

To install the dynaTrace Java agent on Linux you will need a Java runtime available to execute the installer. Copy the agent installation file to the monitored host and run the installer within the destination directory (e.g. /opt) with the following command:

Also make sure that the user your application server will run with has read/write permission for this directory structure.

 Installing the dynaTrace Agent on Windows

To install the Java or .NET agent on Windows platforms execute the agent installation MSI file and optionally specify the install location.
