Question

I can see that some Mobile nodes have "Baseline" in the name, and some nodes have "SMS" in their name, for example:

  • 1. US New York Baseline 4G
  • 2. US New York t-Mobile 4G
  • 3. US New York t-Mobile 4G - SMS

What is the difference between them?

Answer

A Mobile node (location) with "Baseline" in the name is using a broadband connection, not a wireless connection.

Nodes with names that include a service provider name are using wireless connection provided by that provider.

Nodes with "SMS" in the name can be used to test the SMS function.
