We’re at an exciting turning point on the product roadmap as we shift from a solution supporting a portfolio of largely stand-alone use cases to a set of capabilities extending Dynatrace’s reach within the enterprise. While we’ve had multiple levels of product integration for some time, this shift will see wire data-sourced insights integrated more comprehensively into Dynatrace. The upcoming 2018 release of Network Application Monitoring (NAM in short, formerly known as DC RUM - Data Center Real User Monitoring) will focus on integration with Dynatrace and product experience, including:

  • Support for data delivered by all types NAM analyzer, splitting data among multiple tenants, single sign on, and additional interlinking between Dynatrace Hosts dashboards and Dynatrace NAM server reports.
  • Improved reporting and analytics with new DMI capabilities, such as calculated columns, advanced filtering, more fine-grained resolutions, or metric values rendered on Universal Diagram.

  • Redesigned alerting powered by the DMI reporting engine to better align alerts and reports.

  • Fine-grained administrative roles and support for user name anonymization to better answer GDPR requirements.

  • Deployment simplification, a modernized Application health dashboard, updated event and data integrations as part of Dynatrace unification.
