To uninstall the Private PEER using the Start menu, perform these steps.

  1. Right-click the Private Peer icon from the notification area of the taskbar, and then click quit.
  2. Click Start, point to Gomez Private Peer Service, and then click Uninstall Gomez Private Peer Service.
  3. Follow the uninstall instructions.

Using Add or Remove Programs

  1. Right-click the Private Peer icon from the notification area of the taskbar, and then click quit.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  4. Click to Gomez Private Peer Service, and then click Remove.
  5. Follow the uninstall instructions.

To uninstall the Private Peer using Windows Explorer, perform these steps.

  1. Right-click the Private PEER icon from the notification area of the taskbar, and then click quit.
  2. Start Windows Explorer.
  3. Explore to C:\Program Files\Gomez\GomezPEER.
  4. Double-click uninstall.exe.
  5. Follow the uninstall instructions.
