Hello Tambekar

We recently launched a bigger documentation update, focusing on "AI pricing". Have a look at Agentic AppEngine overview (DPS) — Dynatrace Docs

Short version:

pricing depends on which type of tool is called

does the tool infer LLM (e.g. creating a query from natural language) -> then you get charged with AI Units

in all other cases the tool call is charged as "Standard Function Call"

Hello Team, We are planning to roll out MCPs to internal IT teams so that they can build AI agents (or use VS code based client) to perform troubleshooting and historical data analysis.

We would like to understand costing model of using MCP and how underlying platform calls/tokens are considered to calculate overall cost.
