Is it possible to get a hypervisor entity from the infrastructure API? I can't see a method that supports this. Alternatively, is there a generic 'get entity' endpoint that'll return any entity?

With the /api/v1/entity/infrastructure/hosts you will get the hypervisor type as well as well as esxi host name (for vmware) for each host. The API does not provide you with individual hypervisor entities (yet).

We are working on a new version of an entity API that will deliver all types along with their properties.

I would expect that new version of the entity and topology API to become available around begin of next year.

Best greetings,

Wolfgang
