Difference between UserID, InternalUserId in usersession API response

I am looking for detailed documentation which will provide info on response parameters in RUM API's.

Here you can find the RUM API structure:

InternalUserId

string

The unique ID of the user that triggered the user session.

It is given by Dynatrace in order to identify the users. Dynatrace assigns a unique, random ID to each new user.

userId

string

The user ID provided for the user session by session tagging.

It is given by you with user tagging rule.
