Dynatrace API entity/applications does't contain synthetic apps

When I use https://*****.live.dynatrace.com/api/v1/entity/app... to fetch all applications, we don't get back the Synthetic applications.

Using the timeseries API to request the bouncerate, we do get these application id's back.

Looking at the documentation of the entity API, one of the applicationTypes should be synthetic.

While currently we only see. DEFAULT, CUSTOM and RUMONLY returned.

Is there a reason for this behavior? Or is it an issue?

Hi Bert,

The type synthetic is a bug in the documentation. The application endpoint was not meant to deliver the synthetic tests. We are in the process of offering a separate /synthetic endpoint that will deliver the synthetic test entities.
