Can we do Monitoring timeseries API calls through Dynatrace OpenKit libraries?

I want to do api calls to the monitoring time series and wanted to check here with the team whether we can do the timeseries api calls using Dynatrace OpenKit libraries. Please do the needful. Thank You.

Currently the OpenKit libraries offer to create sessions and user actions. The data gets sent in the same format as mobile monitoring beacons. There is no functionality included that uses the Dynatrace REST API. You can read about the current functionality of OpenKit in the documentation on GitHub:

OK, thank you for the response. Will there be any future scope to include Dynatrace REST API accessibility into Openkit libraries and if Yes, what could be the time frame of its implementation.
