Limitations of Dynatrace API - plans for evolution?

We would like to implement automation, via the Dynatrace API, of a number of aspects of our basic monitoring setup for an application. The specific things that we would want to automate, which I do not see any API for, are the following. Can you tell me whether I am missing anything in the API that would allow us to implement any of these, or whether there are plans to extend the API to make any of these possible?

1). Create an application and define custom grouping rules.
2). Create an automatically applied taging rule that will apply a tag to services based on the presence of a tag on a host
3). Create an automatically applied taging rule that will apply a tag to process group based on the presence of a tag on a host
4). Create a custom naming rule for a service

I've seen somewhere on community information that there are some plans for API related to Dynatrace configuration, I can't find proper question. If I will see such I'll post it here.

Configuration API for environments was released into public beta stage last week. You find it in the APIExplorer.
