Metrics Via V2 API

Hello Everyone,

I am new to Dynatrace APIs, I am trying to get all metrics for any kind of entity using the entity ID. I'm facing problem in metricSelector for metric api V2 getDataPoint request. Is there any api for this or some generic metric selector that would be independent of type of entity ?

@subhan you can use the Metric application (or the Metrics API) to search for metrics having dimensions for entity types) :

Afaik there is no option to list all metrics which are present for a single particular entity (e.g. a particular host for example).
