What is the limit on number of custom devices that can be created for dynatrace managed cluster ?

Hi,

I have an usecase where I want to create more than thousands of custom devices.

I want to know - Is there any limit on the number of custom devices that can be created? I couldn't find information regarding this anywhere in the Dynatrace API documentation.

There are some internal save guards in place but in general you should be able to create as many custom devices as you licensed custom metrics. Say you license 1000 custom metrics, you should be able to book each metric on a different device in worst-case.
