Is there an easy way to query the cluster API to get licence usage?

I think you are talking about Cluster Management API for Dynatrace Managed. If you will go to Cluster Management API page from your account menu, you will see all available endpoints. It's not present in SaaS installation. Actually I don't see there any option to check license through the API.

We have Dynatrace managed env, and we are looking for cluster management API to create report for license usage. I have gone through the documentation and found there is no API for License usage. is there anyother option availale to get this license usage data?

I don't know any official way to do this. What can be done is creating headless browser (like casperjs) to login into cluster, go to proper page and screen scrap values but I think it's to much compliction vs. results. If there is any official option I will also be happy to hear it 🙂

@Krunal D. we do not have an API or customer-facing consumption export at this point. We are working on extending our licensing capabilities for Managed and looking to release in spring 2019.

We figured out that the /entity/infrastructure/hosts endpoint, has JSON conatining host info as consumedHostUnits":"

which did give us information about total license used.

Hi guys, we have the same "problem" now, we need to grep licence information from Dyntrace for our service reporting automatically out of the system. Does anyone know if there is a way today on the actual version ?
