Dynatrace Alerting - notifications ONLY for "initial" or ONLY for "recovery"

I have the need to create an alert around thresholds and a count. Is there a way to have an alert that triggers for one threshold count, but recovers for another?

For example, if 0 is ideal - I want an alert when a count is >10, but I want the recovery at <6. In custom alerting, my only option is above or below (no between) and no ability to add rules.

Hi @Dennis H.,

In a way there's a contradiction between your two numbers: you want the notification to be raised when it's above 10 but heal when it's below 6. Your solution of saying I need this to be between 6 and 10 contradicts your first goal, however, If I understand you correctly, your problem should start above 6 already.

In that case what I would do is create two custom alerts, one for the 6 and one for the 10, but use the alerting profiles filtering to decide which event should be sent.

Having said all of that, I'm not sure I know of a way to only send recovery notifications.
