    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi guys,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Prospect asks if there is a way to set monitoring on process and check if the process is running every now and then and get alert if the process is not present.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The reason for this check is that prospect want to be sure that the process is running all the time and not wait for the first service that need it to says its missing&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any suggestion from DynaTrace on that beside to build a dedicated keep alive service?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can do that by opt-into the process-group availability alerting. Just navigate to the process group settings and enable the availability alerting as shown within the screenshot below.
