I'm trying to POST an event.. but where do I find the ENTITYID?

Using the API Explorer... I am trying to post an event.. but I don't know where to find the entityId that is required. I'm actually trying to find an explanation of what an entityId is and what it represents as well.

It's quite simple. You can use API to fetch details of hosts / processess / services etc. But for testing, you can go to Host (for example), and check URL there:

ID is available as query parameter as you see 🙂

Thanks... worked... So can see the events associated with that HOST.. did the same to get Application Id.. worked perfectly.
