Auto close Custom Events after a period like host unavailability

I am interested to know if Auto Close option will be introduced for Custom Events - just like Host unavailability? Or configured at the time of setup of the Custom Event.

We have problems in alert state for more than 30 days for our custom events.

@mrc15816 What metric/threshold are you using for the custom event? Custom events for alerting do auto-close when the metric is below the threshold for the specified amount of time, perhaps the threshold is too low.

@paul_ingle thank you for the response. We have few Windows Services with Custom alerting setup. These were trigged around 49 days ago and they are still active.

I have seen this a few times myself with custom events. Seems to be hit and miss sometimes.
