Why JVM GC time spent shows "zero" ?

Hello Community,

I have created JVM GC total time spent dashboard and few of the process groups the GC time spent value is zero.

Could you please help me to understand?

GC time spent Zero means, GC didn't happen ?

I am using the below metric in the dashboard panels.

builtin:tech.jvm.memory.gc.collectionTime

Garbage collection total collection time

Then, answering to your question is yes, Zero means, 0 means GC didn't happen.
