Create Problem/Alert based Request Attribute for HTTP 200 requests

Hi Dears,

I have some requests and i retreive the output based on the PHP method

Its working fine and i get the right Request Attribute

No I want to create an alert based on a specific text.

On the Global - Failure Detection Parameters, i added a new rule

With a custom error :

But after activating my failure detection rule

Its seems that ALL my requests with HTTP 200 are seen as Failed

The this is that i just want to get alert/problem IF this request argument is present AND with the text condition i defined, regardless of the HTTP code

You can change it from contains to equal and check the output.

Hello @cando

You can also ensure the configurations are applied on the intended services not on global level.
You can narrow the scope via proper adjustment to the management zones and alerting profiles to avoid irrelevant alerting.

Hi Peter, thanks a lot. I disabled the custom error on the global leved and set it on the service level.

It's now working as attended.
