hi All ,

Has anyone tired anomaly detection using notebooks? https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/create-a-davis-ai-anomaly-detector-on-grail/

I wonder how is it different than custom alerts ? Can anyone explain the difference and advantage?

Thanks in advance.

I would say that the biggest advantage is the ability to feed the results of any Grail DQL query into the analyzer, not just existing metrics. Any combination of Grail data types (Metrics, Logs, Events, & Spans) can be used to generate timeseries data to feed into the anomaly detector.
