Set up alerting for log extraction after 3 times within 10 mins

I am wanting to set up an alert for a log extraction that doesn't cost extra for the company.

Currently we have it setup it alerts every time the error happens

But the company is wanting, if it happened 3 times within 10 mins it sends an alert to them via an email, my first thought was via workflows but as that uses credits it would cost the company.

Any ideas?

Hi @Nathanieltat,

I think there is not any solution without costs (DDU consumption). For managed I would create a log metric and then a metric event. But this anomaly detection metric event will open a probelm after a 3 violated minutes when the error is occured. Eg. within each individual minutethe error is occured. So I think it is not cover fully your requirements.

No worries, i was going to set up a workflow for the email alert for the company but you know how companies are with costs 🤐
