Monitor XML response on Dynatrace SaaS

Hi All,

I am looking for a way to monitor the XML response of specific "System Up Check XML request". The XML responses should be monitored for different hosts.

In Appmon we were able to configure such alert but so far in Dynatrace SaaS I am not able to find a way to configure it.

Has anyone configured similar scenarios on Dynatrace SaaS?

Hi Konstantin,

Do you remember how were you able to monitor the XML response in AppMon? Request response bodies were not visible in AppMon but I have seen situations where the response is logged. In these cases it is possible to create a metric for the specific log pattern that you need to look for.

I think he talks about Synthetic calls executed by AppMin plugin.

Here we have HTTP Monitor where you can do the same stuff. You can validate responses
