is there a predifined list of "root causes" for problems? Something similar like "event types".

Right now Dynatrace Davis does show root-causes on an entity based on events (you have the event types) and on automatically detected metric anomalies (root-cause on a metric without an event).

Both kinds will be exposed in the upcoming v2 of our problem and event API. I expect the new v2 API endpoint to become available in early adopter version around end of May.

On the other hand, onw question: event type is available to be used through API, isn't it?.
