Hello, dear Community member,

Please find below the instructions on which steps are required to help you with changing user email (also after moving to another company).

How can I change an email associated with my profile if I move to another company?

An email in your SSO log-in is your main identifier, and you can’t change it by yourself. The general policy is that we do not support personal email addresses (except for trials), since the Community rights are strictly linked to customer or partner accounts. Once you lose access to your old company SSO and email, you can no longer access the Community.

1 ➡️ If your new email provides Dynatrace access, you should create a new Community account using your new company email.

2 ➡️ Next, if you’d like to keep your Community history and achievements from the old profile, contact the Community team at team-community@dynatrace.com and provide links to the old and new user profiles. Community Team will move your new SSO ID to the old account.

Important:
- We're unable to merge accounts. we can only provide you access to the one of the previous account.
- We can move SSO IDs only between two accounts, so if you have more, you need to choose which records you would like to access most.

Hi, thanks for this information! As our company is splitting we will have new e-mail addresses. Is this also how we can migrate our certifications or is other action needed? @Ana_Kuzmenchuk

Hi Marina! If you need your certification or other activity (except for the Community) transferred, you need to create a Zendesk ticket 🙂

I have a question here,

I joined a new customer, but Im not able to use the chat ..., I should create a new account with customer email?
There is no possibility to use the actual email without adding my actual email in the LDAP?

hI @AgataWlodarczyk , @Ana_Kuzmenchuk , is this information still valid?

It appears that in the profile settings of the Community portal, besides changing your community name, you can also specify a new/different email address. Personal - My settings - Dynatrace Community
That is for notifications only?

Hi @fstekelenburg,

Yes, the information is still valid. And exactly as you've mentioned, changing the email in the Community settings page only affects the email to which you are receiving your forum notifications.

considering that my associate and partner sales certificates are linked to my previous organization’s email account?

Hi @Vaibhav713 .
This Community and Dynatrace University are 2 different systems.
I saw your post, and noticed, that you already submitted a ticket to the University, which is the only way to transfer all your University credentials.
Hope they will get back to you shortly.
