Couple of questions:

1. I understand the current maximum limit is 250 for dt.cost.center and 250 for dt.cost.product and I understand it is per dynatrace account and not based on per tenant. Correct?

2. I have a bank customer where they are only less than 50 cost center but they have around 5000 apps/products. How does the customer go about using the cost allocation ?

Hi @vinson_tan!

1. Correct - this limit is across all tenants - since the concept is to provide across tenant visibility to support charge back

2. This needs a bit more information:

We can increase the limit for bigger customers to up to 2000. (see our internal slack channel for Cost Allocation - you'll find the process for an increase request in there)
The goal of the Cost Allocation feature is to provide insights for Charge Back. Do they create internal invoices for all their 5000 apps/products? If not than it I assume the apps/product level might be to granular.
That being said - I already have seen cases which match the Cost Allocation feature and validate for about 4000 for either cost center or product. This is currently not possible but is already in review to understand if/how/when this can be supported.
