The last update to to Dynatrace SaaS seems to have changed several of my key metrics (not for the better) I have some dashboards that I use to see our whole system in aggregate and now there seem to be some timeries no longer available to me. it seems like "Disk Usage %" was change to GB, "Network Traffic" which seemed to be a total of throughput on interfaces only has In / out metrics but no generic "Network Traffic" metric yet somehow my existing graphs still have that metric. and several percentage metrics only have inverted values available, I don't want to see disk available, I don't care that a disk has 83% remaining (and I know I can change the sort on the list which I've done for now) I want to see the disks approaching 100. I really have no idea who would think it would be a good idea to literally change measurement units on a metric. you can add additional metrics all day long, just don't change the existing ones.

silver lining: many metrics that previously lacked "max" aggregation now have it.

Just wanted to second this issue - a lot of metrics we use for our internal monthly reporting have been messed around with -- used to be right there on the Hosts page, now we have to dig / build a custom chart around them? (Custom charting by the way now has terrible performance, lots of "Page not responding due to long running script" warnings) Can't even find a metric for "Disk Usage %", seems like a pretty big regression 😕

Some of metrics may change it's name. In such cases you should recreate some of custom charts. Old metrics may loos ability to collect new data.

Sebastian

We has this issue as well. we reached out to support and let them know of this, We had to manually recreate the tiles with the new names of the tiles. Hopefully future releases wont have the same affect
