topic Is bandwidth metric available in Dynatrace? in Dashboarding

At one time there was a metric available to show connection bandwidth in Appmon. Is this now available?

I am trying to find a distribution of users by their connection speed. That way we better understand how fast the user's network speed is. This would be for both desktop and mobile.

Thoughts?

There isn't a metric OOTB for this. However, you could save this as a session/ action property using the navigator.connection.downlink JS variable. It should be noted that there is limited browser support. No Firefox, IE or Safari and sometimes just makes estimates if it can't get it right

Hello Hannah,

Is it possible to put this navigator.connection.downlink found in waterfall analysis to dashboard?

Thank you
