Hi, Is it possible to disable dashboard creation for users within a group ?

Hi Gary,

Not really. As soon as a user has the "Access environment" permission, a dashboard can be created. Is the usecase to provide read-only dashboards? For that we are working on public sharing, so a share link can be created which will open up the dashboard without possible interactions.

Hi,
Thanks for your response. We have 2 scenario's

Have a dashboard for helpdesk where they can drill and can't create there own dashboards
Have a dashboard for 3rd parties where they can't drill down and can't create there own dashboards

A public dashboard sounds like it may cover the 2nd scenario. The 1st one we can live with as the team will have full documentation to use only the dashboard allocated and if they deviate and create there own we won't be responsible.. more guidelines/work practice policy
