hi all,

we have this issue with oracle linux 8. 2 and red hat 7.6 servers. we have installed another serves with the same OA installer, it was downloaded after installing y verifying the AG appears on DT UI. the team verified connectivity issues and there is communication among clients and activeGate server (we used: telnet ipxx 9999), what else can be?

issue:

Unable to do initial setup because no server is reachable. Last error: Connection timed out after 2000 milliseconds

Can you please try to telnet to any of the active gates port 9999? And to any of the cluster nodes port 443

try to download the agent locally and upload it to the host and do the installation.
make sure to grant execute permissions

Hi @Esam_Eid we did telnet (ipxx 9999) and there is connectivity. we copied the installer from a host with internet connection cause these hosts doesnt reach internet due to company rules.

from a list of 10 just these 2 server werent unable to install. they do have conection to activeGate server and they were installed with admin rights. any other clue or hint i can give you ?

This needs troubleshooting.
can you please use the ip instead of hostname?

maybe it’s DNS issue. And involve network team to capture the traffic between the agent and the AG.
