Activegate CPU Usage metrics show 0% after update and reboot

Hi, we have 1 Activegate and this was updated from 1.285 to 1.297. So far so good, but when the activegate server was restarted, the dashboards showed activegate CPU consumption at 0%. And reviewing metrics:

dsfm:active_gate.system.cpu_usage

show 0 always.

Everything seems to work normally, we didn't see any other changes. Only the CPU usage of the Activegate, we showed it on the dashboard with

dsfm:active_gate.system.cpu_usage:splitBy():sort(value(auto,descending))

and with new dashboards

I would appreciate any help or suggestion.

Hey dcarballo, I'd suggest reaching out to support, I haven't come across anything mentioning the deprecation of these metrics. In the docs for 297 it was mentioned that there were changes to descriptors for these metrics, that shouldn't have an effect here but it seems like something has gone wrong, just something to keep in mind. https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/release-notes-activegate-sprint-297#activegate-self-monitoring-metrics

For troubleshooting purposes, ensure the AG is viewable and not reporting any issues in the deployment status page. You could also look at the builtin:tech.generic.cpu.usage metric and find the AG process in there if you have a OneAgent on the same host.

Hi, after a new update now to version 1.299.23 the metrics are working again.
