segment data is not populated in dashboard

Hi Team
I have created segment to get the cluster name list , saved segment successfully.

When i select the same segment from dashboard, it does not show list of clusters(entity name i.e cluster names) to apply as filter on dashboard data.

any idea what I am doing wrong.

Please help.

Check the management zone and Dashboard configurations as well.

Make sure:

Management zone configurations are properly configured to include all target monitored entities.
The dashboard is mapped to the target management zone properly.
You have sufficient privileges to view the related monitored entities within the target management zone.

Hi Heramb!

I'm currently working on providing a "How to setup segments for K8s" guide in the documentation, which would cover your exact use case.

You successfully managed to configure a segment to contain the monitored entities, but not yet the signals emitted by those.

This can be achieved by adding an "All data" include for metrics, logs, events, etc. with a condition for k8s.cluster.name = prefix*

I will further provide a link to the "How to..." guide, once its published.
