topic Create a Dynatrace Collector Dashboard for Data Ingestion Monitoring in Dashboarding

Hi I have a number of Kubernetes hosted Dynatrace Collectors running in our different environments and enabled self monitoring to keep an eye on their performance and usage. I have installed the dashboards from the hub (OpenTelemetry Dashboards monitoring & observability | Dynatrace Hub) but notice it's difficult to identify which collector is which as it only gives the service.instance.id to separate out the collectors.

Is there anything I can add in the dashboard to identify which Kubernetes cluster the collector is running in?

Thanks

Hello, @PeteBush!

Have you already taken a look at this documentation page: OpenTelemetry Collector self-monitoring? Is it helping in any way?

Please let us know, thank you in advance!

Hi @Michal_Gebacki thanks yes I managed to get the k8s enrichment working after I posted this and can now at least get the k8s.node.name the collector is running on which helps massively. Thanks for responding.

Pete
