I'm kinda confused about your point here... I'll admit that you mean to change the "Appearance" to light mode because it changes the Dashboard too.

On the other hand, if you mean enforcing a specific style for the dashboard itself, independently of the rest of the UI, I don’t think that’s possible unless you build your own custom app.

Try checking your device theme and your browser theme. It is usually adapted accordingly however, the manual method can be done by opening your environment's dashboard, then navigating towards the settings and then appearence which would allow you to see a light or dark theme. Personally, if you wish to have a custom color that feature is not available as per my knowledge
