ActiveGate Installation on the Dynatrace Managed host

Hi,

I have a simple question.

Can I install Env ActiveGate on the same host where i have Dynatrace Managed? Of course is a low-load prep environment - non prod.

No, you can't. It's not possible, then installation will not proceed.

In Managed you don't need Environment ActiveGate if it is a small environment.

Active Gate is necessary to run database insight.

For this reason I asked a question 🙂 If this is impossible, we will add a dedicated machine.

thanks for your question.

We recommend, that any ActiveGate should be installed on a dedicated host.
