Swap Dynatrace Managed installation file system

I Installed Dynatrace Managed in Linux Red Hat 7 /VAR Directory. This file system is running out of space. The sysadmins find it difficult to expand this /VAR File System. For that reason they asked us if it is possible to change Dynatrace Installation directory to another File System so that it would be easier to expand.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to "move" the data store to another directory without completely reinstalling the node. If it is possible, I would recommend to create a dedicated filesystem, move the current data there and afterward mount it to the current datastore location (/var/opt/dynatrace by default). Of course, you have to move the data while Dynatrace cluster node is shut down.

So actually your problem can be reduced to mapping another filesystem to the current data store location.
