One-Agent --> ActiveGate --> Management cluster communication validation!

Dynatrace experts,

We have Managed Dynatrace environment where OneAgents are communicating via ActiveGates (Environment).

Where we are planning to deploy Custom SSL certificate on the Active gates.

Before doing this activity we want to ensure how we can validate if any of the monitored host will successfully communicate via particular one agent?

Any suggestions is much appreciated!

As a principle, OneAgent will try to connect to the other endpoint if one fails. So at best, you should have at least two instances of ActiveGate to experiment safely.

Optionally, you do this before in a pre-production environment or install an additional ActiveGate with such settings and try connecting a temporary host with OneAgent.

How can we force an OneAgent to communicate via the additional/test Activegate temporarily so that we can test if the certificate is installed properly?
