we are going to use the new Dynatrace Managed tool for our project.

What is the recommendation to improve the performance [Median , 90th Percentile] from the new Dynatrace
Managed tool?

What are all the factors we need to consider?

I think all will depends of your application. First you should deploy dynatrace, use diagnostic tools to find top exceptions, slowest DB statements and slowest requests. After making improvement there, you can check more detailed issues on your environment. Because of complexity of todays applications, there is no single path you can follow to accomplish such task.

My recommendation is to install Dynatrace all allow a good 1 - 2 weeks for the AI to detect, correlate and baseline data. From there you can get stricter on the performance per your applications. The AI is designed to detect and alert on any issues that arise outside of the norm before they impact services.
