Issue during Dynatrace Managed install

I am trying to install Dynatrace Managed(On Premise) and I keep failing on the step related to the $CMD. I cannot find much documentation on this step, and I am hoping someone can explain what is needed on this step to get the install to succeed. I am installing with SUDO access.

Hi Brian,

the Dynatrace Managed installer is capable of using sudo or different alternatives to sudo like powerbroker, but you need to tell the installer which command it should use to start a process with root privileges.

The default value we use is "/usr/bin/sudo $CMD". This works for default sudo installations. If your sudo command is installed in a different directory you would need to type the path to the your sudo command e.g. /usr/bin/mysudo \\$CMD

Note that you have to escape the $ character with two backslashes.

Can you tell me if it would be a problem if we require passwords for sudo? Is there away to work around that with the installer?
