I haven’t come across any dedicated documentation or recommended reverse proxy specifically for communication between Dynatrace Managed and Mission Control. I recommend opening a support ticket with Dynatrace to get official guidance on this scenario.

We are trying to establish communication between our Dynatrace Managed cluster and Mission Control, but we are encountering connectivity issues. The current network flow is structured as follows:

Dynatrace Managed Cluster → Proxy VM (Reverse Proxy) → Enterprise Proxy → Mission Control

We would appreciate your guidance on the recommended reverse proxy service to configure on the Proxy VM and the proper way to set up this communication path.

Note: We attempted to use IIS with Application Request Routing (ARR) on the Proxy VM as a reverse proxy, but it did not work as expected.

I addition to that when we are using wget to download the managed installer, its giving us the following issue:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
connecting to <Reverse-Proxy-IP>... Connected.
Failed Reading Proxy Response: Success.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note that we are able to curl from Reverse Proxy to Dynatrace Mission Control via Enterprise Proxy.
