Reduce logs retention period in Dynatrace Managed

Hi All,

I have a managed cluster where I am about to cross the DDU Limit. I want to reduce the retention period of the logs so that my DDU can be extended up to the end of the license cycle.

I want to understand the feasibility and if this is possible how can I configure it.

Hi @Kunal_Goel ,

This option can’t be adjusted from the UI. You would need to contact Dynatrace Support to have it changed.

If you’re still on the classic license model (not DPS), there is another way to control DDUs: you can set a monthly DDU limit for log monitoring. However, reducing the log retention period directly from the UI is not available.
