Need your help to know to attach the extension to a specific Management Zone so we can grant the access of that Dashboard to specific groups.

Dear Malaik,

Directly we cant attach any extension with the ManagementZone (raised the RFE for the same 😊) Whereas with the entity type, entity, relationship which you are getting from the extensions can be added as a rule.

One such example is,

type("dt.entity.python:certificate_monitor_certificate"),entityName.startsWith("<cert Name>")

Similarly, with the other extensions you can check the "Extension content" section for the entity and the relationship.

If this works for you, then you can automate this with the workflow as well.

Hello Malaik,
If you’re looking to grant dashboard access for a specific extension, you need to add the extension metrics used in the dashboard to the Management Zone, not the extension itself.

For example, if you want a team to view data from the Generic Cisco Device extension on an existing dashboard, or build a customized dashboard, you can include the relevant Cisco metrics in that Management Zone rule set, as shown in the screenshot below.
