Transaction Storage is not synced between cluster nodes. If a node is down and the data can't be recovered, it is gone.

The transaction storage is also not included in the backup, only Elastic and Cassandra storage are included there. If the request/code level data is so important that you can't lose it, you have to backup it via an external way.

Please, can you advise? We had an instance where the 1 of the servers in our Dynatrace Managed Cluster went down to extend the storage from 500G to 1.5 TB.

The server had a Kernal panic and had to be rebuilt.

We reinstalled the server and its up and running.

From what we can see the Casandra and Elastic are around the same which I would presume is in sync.

My question we have 250 GB Data on the other two Nodes yet the newly rebuilt one has only 45G of transaction storage utilization.
